I’ve worn a few different hats over the years—military officer, coach, manager, and now a full-time creative who tells stories with a camera. Every chapter shaped the way I work today: grounded, intentional, and always focused on the people in front of me.
Growing up in Newfoundland taught me that life’s real treasures aren’t things—they’re moments, memories, and the people who make them. That belief sits at the heart of Power Wedding Media. Yes, I love creating beautiful films and photos, but it’s the connection with people that truly fuels me.
After sixteen years in the Canadian Armed Forces, I learned how to stay calm under pressure, anticipate what’s coming, and lead with purpose. Funny enough, those skills translate perfectly behind a camera—where timing, trust, and being present matter more than anything.
Photography started as a quiet escape after my first tour in Afghanistan. Over time, it grew into something bigger—something that felt like a calling. Today, Power Wedding Media is the result of that journey: a partnership built with Kaleefah, inspired by service, empathy, creativity, and a shared passion for telling wedding stories that genuinely matter.

Hi, I'm Kaleefah Henry, a co-founder of Power Wedding Media. My unique perspective comes from blending my background as an educator with my passion for professional filmmaking. For the past five years, I've specialized in crafting deeply personal, documentary-styled wedding films, driven by a genuine care for the couples I serve. My goal is always to move beyond simply recording events and instead tell your authentic story, focusing on the raw emotion and subtle narratives that define your celebration. I strive to deliver a timeless, cinematic document of your celebration, allowing you to relive the true feeling of the day for generations to come.
To achieve this cinematic quality, I operate using professional-grade cinema gear, including the Sony FX6 and FX3. Furthermore, my post-production workflow is highly efficient and versatile: I maintain expert proficiency in both DaVinci Resolve for high-end color grading and finishing, and Final Cut Pro for seamless editorial execution.
